HSA INFORMATION

A Health Savings Account (HSA) is available to benefits eligible employees. And our QHDHP (Qualified High Deductible Health Plan) is your “key” to the HSA.  to see if it is right for you.

What is an HSA?

Simply put, it’s a savings account. Longer explanation: it’s a savings account that comes with your QHDHP—鶹Ƶֱ contributes money to it and so can you. These contributions are tax free, both when you put the money in and when you take it out (if you’re spending it on ). Your money stays with you year-after-year, no matter where you go, and you can spend it anytime or save for the future. Save on healthcare by using a Health Savings Account (HSA).

How can I use the money in the HSA?

Once enrolled, you will receive a debit card. You can also submit for reimbursement online. Just make sure that you are using the account on qualifying medical expenses, or you will have to pay excise tax come tax season.

How does the HSA differ from the FSA?
