Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College Community Orchestra and DeMarina Trio to Perform at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College

Bethlehem, Pa., April 17, 2016—The Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College Community Orchestra, directed by Donald Spieth, with special guest the DeMarina Trio will perform on Sunday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Foy Concert Hall, Hurd Campus. The general admission is $15 and $10 for students and seniors.

The DeMarina Trio is composed of Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College faculty members Deborah Andrus, clarinet, Inna Eyzerovich, violin, and Martha Schrempel, piano, who will join the 80-piece Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College Community Orchestra for the concert. The program will include: Berlioz’Hungarian March from The Damnation of Faust, Verdi’s Aida Sinfonia, Milhaud’s Suite provençale, Op. 152, DeMarina’s Triple Concerto: Variations on Carmen, and Kodály’s Háry János Suite.

Andrus is an Artist Lecturer at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College and Lehigh University, where she teaches clarinet. She is also a member of the SATORI Chamber Ensemble and the East Winds Quintet.

Eyzerovich is an Artist Lecturer at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Moscow Conservatory. After moving to Pennsylvania, she became a member of the Reading Symphony, the Bach Festival Orchestra, and the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, and is Assistant Concertmaster for the Allentown Symphony.

Schrempel is an Artist Lecturer at Â鶹ÊÓƵֱ²¥ College. She graduated from Vassar College and the Juilliard School in New York and has a Doctor of Musical Arts from Temple University. In addition, Schrempel performed in Bulgari and Albania and plays keyboards for the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra.
